Step 2: In the pop-up box, type in inetwiz, and click OK. Step 3: This should open the Internet Connection Wizard. Select the first option, Connect using my phone line, if you are using a modem and phone line to connect to the Internet. Step 4: From the drop-down box, select the modem you are using and click Next.
Step 5: Type in the closest POP number, including the area code, in the telephone number section. Click here for the list of POP numbers. If you need to dial a zero (0), or any other number, to access an outside line (e.g. dialing through a switchboard), then the 0 or the other number that you need to dial must be in front of the area code, followed by the PoP number. i.e.: 0, code, number (0,0214068500). Select South Africa in "Country/region name and code". Uncheck "Use area code and dialing rules" and click Next.
Step 6: Fill in your username and your password. Note that the username and password are case-sensitive. The username is always in lowercase. Click Next.
Step 7: Type in a connection name e.g. "RSAWeb". Click Next.
Step 8: When it prompts you to set up your Internet Mail Account, select Yes and click Next. Step 9: Type in your name and surname, or your company name (upper- or lowercase). When someone receives an e-mail from you, the name you have chosen will appear in the 'From' field of the e-mail. Click Next. Step 10: Type in your e-mail address in lowercase and click Next. Step 11: Select POP3 as your incoming mail server type. Type the "Incoming and Outgoing" mail server names in lowercase in the relevant spaces. Click Next. Step 12: Fill in your username your password. Note that the username and password are case-sensitive and that selecting "Remeber Password" is optional.
