This facility make connecting to the internet in foreign countries much easier. To setup your email account to send email whilst you are using the iPass facility is quite a simple process but does need to be done otherwise you will not be able to send email. Instructions on configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 with iPass international dialup facility Step 1: Open Microsoft Outlook, Click on Tools and then E-mail Accounts...
Step 2: Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and then click Next.
Step 3: Select your e-mail account and then click Change...
Step 4: Change your Outgoing server to smtpauth.rsaweb.co.za and click More Settings...
Step 5: Go to the Outgoing Server tab. Tick the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox and then select the Log on using option and enter your Dialup username and password. NOT your e-mail address. Click OK.
Click Next and then Finish to complete the E-mail Accounts Wizard. Now test your account by clicking Send/Receive. Similar Information from this category |
