Configuring Outlook 2002 in Windows to Save or Delete Mail from an RSAWeb Mail Server

Important: Leaving mail on an RSAWeb Mail server allows you to view messages on your client as well as WebMail; however, e-mail is permanently deleted on the server after a certain period of time.

To configure Outlook XP/2003 to either save or delete copies of e-mail from an RSAWeb Mail Server:

    1. Start Outlook.
    2. From the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
    3. Select the View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts option.
    4. Click Next.
    5. Select your Mail account from the list.
    6. Click the Change button.
    7. Click the More Settings button.
    8. Select the Advanced tab.
    9. Place a check in or clear the Leave a Copy of Messages on the Server check box.
    10. Click OK.
    11. Click Next.
    12. Click Finish.
