Improve your iBurst performance by configuring the MTU

Speed Tests have proven that by setting the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) on your PC results in increase iBurst performance.

Simply follow these quick easy steps:

Step 1 Click on the link provided which will allow you to download the application. http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe.

Step 2: Select save to disk and click OK.

Step 3: Once you have saved the DrTcp Application to your PC open it from the saved location by double clicking on the DrTcp icon. The following interface should appear.

• Windows Scaling -Yes
• Time Stamp -No
• Selective Acks -Yes
• DialUp (RAS)MTU -Leave Blank
• Path MTU Discovery -Yes
• Black Hole Detection -No
• Max Duplicate ACKs -2
• TTL -64
• Adapter Settings -iBurst Terminal
• MTU -1352

Step 5: Click on the save button.

If your performance is still unsatisfactory we would recommend getting an external antenna to boost signal strength.
