New Uncapped DSL product
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our Uncapped DSL accounts for 4Mbps, 512kb/s and 384kb/s DSL lines, priced at R499, R289 and R199 per month respectively.
This is great news for customers who are looking for a better Internet experience, and don’t want the hassle of being capped when they reach their monthly limit. With a fixed monthly cost for bandwidth, customers will also be able to make better use of other online services, such as online backup, hosted email and server hosting.
Telkom currently is testing a 10Mbps line, which is set to be rolled out to areas that can support this higher speed. Once this becomes official, we will be able to launch a package that accommodates this line speed as well.
Please note that this service is not designed for automated 24/7 downloading of large amounts of data, which might cause quality issues for others using the same service. Make sure you are familiar with our usage policies before purchasing this service. We generally recommend this product for those who frequently use between 7 to 10GB or more data per month.
Clients that order this service now will have to wait 2 – 5 days for the service to be activated.
