This summer RSAWEB will be teaming up with Concerts in the Park to bring you the very best in local music talent! Sit back and relax at one or more of our free summer concerts between December 2016 and April 2017 – arguably the best way to spend your Sundays this summer.
We believe that Concerts in the Park is a great example of a community coming together to spend time in a public space, interact and connect. At RSAWEB we are all about ‘Connecting Tomorrow’, which is why we are proud to support this fantastic initiative, and we appreciate Concerts in the Park’s vision of using music to bring communities together to have a good time.
Concerts in the Park is a non-profit company that promotes free musical events in community facilities. Since 2011 the summer concerts have been staged in De Waal Park’s Victorian Bandstand, with the proceeds raised through collections used for on-going maintenance and improvements of the park.
“We are excited to be partnering with Concerts in the Park and are thrilled to have this opportunity to give back to the community. Initiatives such as Concerts in the Park are so important as they are a way to extend the warm arms of the Mother City around her people. We look forward to spending the day with you in the park listening to lekker, local music!” – Allan Boyle, RSAWEB Operations Director.
Be sure to look out for the RSAWEB team at each of the concerts and visit our stand where we can answer all your connectivity questions. Enter our competition on the day and you could stand a chance to win amazing prizes!
