Security Notice

September 19, 2017

Last Friday afternoon, we became aware that one of our clients’ websites had been hacked.  Their website was defaced and the content removed.  Since then two other sites have been hacked.  We know that this was a brute force attack on our systems and we regard this as our highest priority to address.

We have taken extreme measures to secure all access to security enablement services which would allow hackers access to websites if compromised.  We have also blocked access to any public and other access ports which may be vulnerable.  Intensive monitoring has been initiated on all RSAWEB hosted web servers, looking for any abnormal activities, so as to catch any potential intrusions before they occur.

We strongly suggest that you change your passwords as a precautionary measure and take backups of any sensitive data. Please also make sure you have updated any plugins and themes on your websites. If you need any support to perform these steps, please call us on 087 470 0655.

If, however, we cannot stop the intrusions immediately and your website is hacked, please call our hotline number 087 470 0652 and we will use all resources at our disposal to assist.

We will continue to keep all our customers updated on developments and how best to mitigate the impact of these criminal and senseless activities.
