Background on the incident On 14th March at 13:00, our monitoring systems detected an issue with one of our undersea cable routes, WACS. While this incident did not directly affect RSAWEB’s network, as we have multiple international network paths, we observed that other content networks, such as Microsoft, are experiencing degradation. Our partner providers have confirmed that WACS damage was due to suspected turbidity (river debris). RSAWEB engineering is closely monitoring the restoration efforts related to the WACS cable downtime, and we will provide updates as necessary to keep you updated on any developments.
