If you cancel within 12 months of going live, you pay the value of the free Mini UPS and the R1 840 Installation fee.*The installation fee does not apply if you already have a fibre line installed which is not damaged and still active.
The installation fee covers the first 30 meters inside plant drop, Lightstruck then charges you an additional fee per meter thereafter (T's&C's apply).
If your service is cancelled due to non payment, It will take up to 7 working days for your service to re-activate once payment is made.
If an ONT needs to be installed you will be charged R1 840.

The router is free to use but remains the property of RSAWEB for the duration of your service.
We fully insure your free-to-use router, so in the event of accidental damage or theft, we will replace it (T's&C's Apply*).
Should you cancel your services at anytime, the router can be purchased from RSAWEB at the retail value at the time of cancellation or returned to RSAWEB in its original condition.
Please include your name and RSAWEB customer code when returning your router.
If we do not receive your router within the 10-day router-return period, you will be billed for it, and it will become your own.
The router will no longer be insured by RSAWEB, and we will not accept responsibility for any damage or defaults.
No router returns will be accepted any later than 10 days after your account was deactivated.
All courier costs involved in returning the router are for your own account.
You will be charged the original retail value of the router shuld you fail to comply.
Please ensure that the LAN cable, power cable and anything else included in the router box is returned, as you can be billed for any missing items.
RSAWEB routers are recycled, as part of our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we refurbish our pre-owned routers.
Rest assured that it has been cleaned, checked, and restored to "good as new" status.

One calendar month notice period is needed for the cancellation of your services.
Please note you are responsible for cancelling your existing services such as ADSL or fibre with another provider (if applicable) when signing up with RSAWEB.
All cancellations have to go to [email protected] in order to be processed.
You will receive a cancellation form to complete accepting any relevant T's and C's, cancellations will be accepted upon completion of this process.

Moving home is treated as a cancellation as your ONT cannot be moved and is fixed to the premises.
Should the next tenant take over your service, we will transfer the service at no cost to you.
Contact [email protected] if this is the case.
If you have been an RSAWEB client for less than your contract term and resume your service at your new home, you will not pay a cancellation fee and the remainder of your previous contract will be added to your new contract.
If the provider considers moving an ONT box or fibre line for any reason as a re-installation, a fee of R1725 will be charged.

The pricing shown above is only applicable to home fibre and not business fibre.
Our speeds cannot be guaranteed as there are many factors that can impact the speed of our services.
Fibre to the home is a best effort service.
For 200Mbps or faster line speeds, an upgraded router is essential for peak WiFi speed, please also ensure that your devices are compatible with the speeds of your chosen package.
If you already have an RSAWEB router in good condition you can return it and pay the difference to receive an upgraded router.
You can upgrade or downgrade your line speed at anytime.
Upgrades take place immediately however downgrades take place on the first of the following month and a once off fee of R250 applies.

Free 1 Hour on-site support applicable to Cape Town areas only.
Johannesburg areas receive Free WiFi assessment.
Your WiFi assessment fee is waived should you purchase any equipment during the call out.
Should you not make a purchase, the standard R500p/h rate will be charged.

You can only refer up to 5 friends.
You only receive your credit when your friends sign up and gets connected.
1GB free data does not roll over to the next month but you can top up on MYRSAWEB.

Does this offer include a router?
Yes, we will supply you with a free high quality wi-fi router that can handle your new lightning fast Fibre Internet.

Do you have month-to-month packages?
Yes, we do offer month-to-month packages. Should you cancel your contract within the first 12 months you will be liable for the setup and router fee.

Are there uncapped packages?
Yes, in fact all Octotel, Vumatel and Frogfoot packages offer uncapped data. Our Openserve packages come in various cap offerings.

How long does the setup process take?
The setup process depends on which open access fibre network you choose to use. They will let you know when you can expect your installation ( Timelines differ according to fibre provider).

Is this a contracted service?
No, there is no minimum commitment required. Our FTTH services are month-to-month.

What if my area isn’t covered by Fibre to the Home (FTTH)
