Mobile Data has seen massive growth over the past two years and with that growth we have found that some of our customers want to be on the MTN network while others prefer Vodacom. Now the choice is yours as we have extended our product to include both of South Africa’s top networks – giving you unparalleled coverage across the country.

Single control panel management of SIMs and Data on Vodacom and MTN

Now you can choose whether you would prefer to use Vodacom or MTN as your Mobile Data network provider from within your Mobile Data online control panel.  Our single control panel management of SIMs and data allows you either run both Vodacom and MTN as providers at the same time or to switch between the two should you so desire. You simply select how much data you would like on each network and then start provisioning SIM cards to your users.

 

mobile dataWhen allocating a data allowance to your users each month you won’t need to worry about assigning them Vodacom or MTN data specifically. We’ve allowed users to have a single cap that any SIM card (regardless of network) can connect to, making management as simple as possible and saving you the hassle of having to manage two data bundles for each of your users.

 

Network coverage throughout South Africa

With Mobile Data you can be sure of a fast and high-quality connection from just about anywhere in South Africa regardless of whether you prefer to use Vodacom or MTN. Both of these network providers have exceptional coverage across South Africa, with an average speed of 4-20 Mbps upload/download.  If you would like to see which network has the highest coverage in your area, you can view each of the provider’s coverage maps here:

 

We’ve also added a few more features and tools to Mobile Data. Here are some of the latest improvements we have made and some new features soon to be added:

Account Top-Ups:  add data top-ups to your user accounts in any increment sizes you need between 1 to 10 GBs. If a data cap is reached you can choose to top-up for the rest of the month or upgrade your account to immediately restore Internet access to your accounts.

SIM Connection Data: assigned SIM cards now show their IP address, connection time, last update and how long they have been online.

Capped Account Alerts: you can now monitor capped accounts from the control panel dashboard.

Inventory Quick Filters: quickly filter to see which SIM cards are currently online or offline or to find which SIM cards are unassigned.

Bundle and Account Alerts: soon you will be able to configure more notifications and daily overviews of users with daily reports, live account capped alerts and bundle alerts.

Bulk Account and Group Update Wizard: we are adding a bulk account and group creation wizard for our customers with large user bases.
